Ooma Office is fantastic!

Ooma Office is fantastic! We just switched our small business over, and it's been such a smooth transition. The features are exactly what we needed, and the call quality is superb. Everyone in the office is so happy with it. Definitely recommending this to other business owners!

Got the Ooma Telo, works fine

I got the Ooma Telo a bit ago to save on my phone bill. It arrived pretty fast. Hooking it up was no big deal. The calls sound clear. No complaints, it does what it's supposed to do.

Reliable Telo, again

This is my third Ooma Telo purchase, this time for my cabin. Just like the previous two, it was consistent. Ordered it, got it within a few days, and installation was a breeze. I've been using Ooma for years now at home, and I keep coming back because it just works. No surprises, no hidden fees, and the call quality is always good. The reliability is why I stick with them.

Telo Air Setup was Simple

I bought an Ooma Telo Air a few weeks ago after my old landline service got too expensive. Ordering it was straightforward on their website. It arrived two days earlier than the tracking said, which was a nice surprise. Setup was surprisingly simple; I just plugged it into my router and followed the app instructions. The call quality is clear, much better than I expected for a VoIP service. I had a quick question about forwarding my old number, and customer support on the phone was helpful, resolved it in about ten minutes. My only minor complaint is that the app sometimes takes a bit to load, but it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, a solid experience and a good value.

Decent service, minor hiccup

I ordered an Ooma Telo and an Ooma HD3 Handset. The package arrived quickly, and everything was packed well. Setting up the Telo was pretty easy, just plug and play. The call quality is generally good, and I like not having a monthly bill for basic service. However, the HD3 Handset took a bit longer to pair than I expected, and the instructions for that specific part could have been clearer. It eventually connected, but it was a little frustrating for a few minutes. Value is definitely there for the price, especially compared to what I was paying before.

How do Ooma's business plans stack up against something like RingCentral or Nextiva? I need something reliable for a small office.

L Lisa 2 months ago
Ooma Office is pretty solid for small businesses. I used it for a while before we scaled up. It's usually a bit cheaper than RingCentral for basic features, but RingCentral might have more bells and whistles if you need super advanced stuff. For standard calls and a few extensions, Ooma is great.

I've only used Ooma Office, but it's been super reliable for our 10-person team. Never had issues with call quality. Heard RingCentral can be pricier, especially if you don't need all their enterprise features.

Thinking about getting the Telo Air. Is it actually free after you buy the box, or do they hit you with monthly fees?

S Sophie C. 1 month ago
Yeah, it's mostly free. You just pay taxes and some government fees, which are usually pretty low. I pay like $5 a month total.

Exactly what they said. You buy the hardware, and then it's just the mandatory stuff. No monthly service charge for basic calling, which is awesome.

I'm thinking of switching to Ooma Telo, but I want to keep my current home number. Is that even possible or a huge headache?

D Dana K. 2 months ago
Totally possible! I ported my old landline number over last year, and it was pretty smooth. Took about a week or so, but my old number still works fine with Ooma now.

Yeah, you can keep your number. There might be a small fee for it, but Ooma handles most of the process. Not a headache at all, just follow their instructions.

Anyone know if Ooma does Black Friday deals on their Telo units? Been eyeing one but want to wait if a big discount is coming.

B Brett Nguyen 1 month ago
They definitely do! I got my Telo two years ago during their Black Friday sale, saved like $40 on it. Keep an eye out around then.

Yep, they usually have something going on for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Hardware is almost always discounted then.
